GET /api/v1/token/{symbol}/flow summarises one token’s tracked-whale flow over three windows (24h, 7d, 30d). Each window gives the net flow, the accumulation-side and distribution-side totals, the number of moves and distinct wallets, and four split fields that separate exchange transfers from DEX swaps.

Endpoint

GET/api/v1/token/{symbol}/flow

Base URL https://deepbluealpha.io · JSON over HTTPS · Ethereum mainnet only.

Authentication
API key in the X-API-Key header (or the ?api_key= query parameter). Create a key on your account page once you are on the Whale plan or a Business plan. Keys are shown once at creation.
Rate limit
Whale plan: 25,000 calls/day per API key. Business plan: 250,000 calls/day per account across up to 5 keys. Counters reset at 00:00 UTC; past the limit, requests return 429.
Plan & license
Whale plan ($79.99/mo standard, $49.99/mo founder rate) for personal use; Business plan ($299/mo or $2,990/yr) for commercial use inside your organization.

Parameters

NameTypeDefaultDescription
symbolpath, string—Token symbol, e.g. LINK, PEPE. Case-insensitive; a leading $ is ignored. ETH and WETH both include native ETH (recorded as WETH).

Example request (curl)

curl -s -H "X-API-Key: $DBA_API_KEY" \
  https://deepbluealpha.io/api/v1/token/LINK/flow

Python example

import os, requests

BASE = "https://deepbluealpha.io/api/v1"
HEADERS = {"X-API-Key": os.environ["DBA_API_KEY"]}   # dba_...

r = requests.get(f"{BASE}/token/LINK/flow", headers=HEADERS, timeout=10)
r.raise_for_status()
for window, w in r.json()["data"]["windows"].items():
    exchange_net = w["exchange_withdraw_usd"] - w["exchange_deposit_usd"]
    dex_net = w["dex_buy_usd"] - w["dex_sell_usd"]
    print(f"{window}: net off exchanges ${exchange_net:,.0f} | "
          f"net DEX swaps ${dex_net:,.0f} | {w['wallets']} wallets")

FAQ

Is there an API for Ethereum exchange inflows and outflows per token?

Yes. GET /api/v1/token/{symbol}/flow returns exchange_withdraw_usd and exchange_deposit_usd per token for 24h, 7d and 30d, counted over 20,000+ tracked whale wallets, with DEX swaps in separate fields.

What does net_flow_usd mean?

Accumulation-side volume (DEX buys plus exchange withdrawals) minus distribution-side volume (DEX sells plus exchange deposits). It describes past flow; it does not predict price.

Not financial advice. Deep Blue Alpha data describes what tracked wallets did on-chain. It does not predict prices and is not a trading recommendation. Labels are heuristics from known address lists; see the methodology. Facts on this page checked 2026-10-26.
