Billing & Payments

1. Subscription Plans

Deep Blue Alpha currently offers the following subscription tiers for purchase:

• Free: No charge. Access to core whale tracking features, including the live dashboard and feed, market trends, daily whale reports, a preview of the What Whales Hold board, and unlimited browsing and search of all tracked whale wallets (each wallet's token breakdown and trade history).
• Pro ($9.99/mo or $89/yr founding rate; standard $14.99/mo or $139/yr): Includes real-time Alerts (Telegram, push, email, Discord, Slack, and custom webhooks; core alert types — browser push availability depends on your operating system, see the delivery note below), the Intelligence Suite, and the full What Whales Hold holdings board. (Daily whale reports are also available on the Free tier.)
• Alpha ($19.99/mo or $179/yr founding rate; standard $29.99/mo or $269/yr): Includes everything in Pro, plus WHaiLE™ AI, Whale Picks, the Backtest engine, holder-level holdings detail (which wallets hold each token and at what average cost).
• Whale ($49.99/mo or $439/yr founding rate; standard $79.99/mo or $709/yr): Includes everything in Alpha, plus the Echo Simulator, Playbook event intelligence, priority Alerts (no hourly limits), custom wallet monitoring (alerts on any Ethereum address you choose), unlimited watchlist, and read-only API access (/api/v1).

Wallet data. Browsing and searching the full set of tracked whale wallets — including each wallet's token breakdown and trade history — is free on every tier, and available without an account. Profit/loss, cost basis, and open-position detail on an individual wallet's page are a paid feature, available on the most profitable wallets by unrealized-P/L rank: Free top 50, Pro top 100, Alpha top 250, and Whale all tracked wallets. Profit/loss figures are computed only for wallets that have traded since Deep Blue Alpha began tracking them; other wallets display no P/L.

Alert delivery. Alerts are delivered through third-party platforms and are subject to the notification-delivery terms in our Terms of Service. Browser push in particular is constrained by the operating system: on iPhone and iPad it requires installing Deep Blue Alpha to the Home Screen (iOS 16.4+) and does not work from a Safari tab. Telegram, email, Discord, Slack, and webhooks are unaffected. No refund or service credit arises from a missed or delayed notification.

API access. Read-only programmatic API access is included with the Whale tier, subject to per-plan rate limits. See deepbluealpha.io/api-docs.

Founding member pricing (Pro and Alpha only) is available for a limited time and is locked in for the lifetime of your continuous subscription. See Section 6 for details.

2. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other major cards — processed securely by Stripe.
• Cryptocurrency: ETH, BTC, USDC, USDT, SOL, BNB, and 300+ other cryptocurrencies — processed by NOWPayments.

We do not store your card details. All card payments are handled by Stripe under PCI-DSS compliance. Cryptocurrency transactions are processed on-chain via NOWPayments.

3. Billing Cycle

• Monthly plans are billed every 30 days from the date of your initial subscription.
• Yearly plans are billed once per year from the date of your initial subscription.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You will receive an email receipt for each successful payment.

4. Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then.
• We do not charge cancellation fees.
• After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free tier.

To cancel, log in and go to Account → Billing → Cancel Subscription. If you have trouble, email team@deepbluealpha.io.

5. Refund Policy

• Card payments: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days at team@deepbluealpha.io and we will review your case.
• Cryptocurrency payments: Due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions, crypto payments are final and non-refundable.
• Exceptions: We will issue refunds where required by applicable consumer protection law.

6. Founding Member Pricing

Founding member pricing is a promotional rate offered for a limited time at launch. If you subscribe during the founding member period:

• Your rate is locked in for life — it will never increase as long as your subscription remains continuously active.
• If you voluntarily cancel and later resubscribe, the then-current standard pricing applies. Your founding rate cannot be reinstated after a voluntary cancellation.
• Involuntary lapse — 14-day grace period: If your subscription is suspended due to a payment failure (failed card charge, expired card, card reissue, NSF, or similar), the founding rate is preserved for fourteen (14) days from the date of the first failed charge. If you update your payment method and the charge succeeds within that window, your founding rate continues uninterrupted. If the failure is not resolved within fourteen days, the account reverts to Free and the then-current standard pricing applies on resubscription.
• Founding pricing applies to the tier you subscribe to at the time. Upgrading to a higher tier at a later date will be at the then-current rate for that tier.

7. Price Changes

We may change our standard pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers before any price increase takes effect. Active subscribers are never moved to a new price mid-cycle without notice.

8. Failed Payments

If a card payment fails:

• We will notify you by email immediately.
• Stripe will automatically retry the charge up to 3 times over the following days.
• If all retries fail, your subscription will be suspended and your account will revert to the Free tier.
• You can update your payment method at any time from your Account page.

9. Taxes

Prices listed are exclusive of any applicable taxes. Depending on your jurisdiction, U.S. state sales tax, EU/UK Value Added Tax (VAT), Canadian GST/HST, or other transaction taxes may be added at checkout. Where required by law, applicable taxes are calculated and collected at the time of payment by our payment processor and remitted to the relevant taxing authority.

If your jurisdiction grants you a statutory cooling-off or right-of-withdrawal period for digital services (for example, the EU Consumer Rights Directive's 14-day right of withdrawal, or the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations), your subscription provides you immediate access to digital content; by initiating the subscription you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is waived to the extent that performance has begun, except where the law makes such waiver invalid. You retain all statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived under your local law.

You remain responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase that we do not collect at checkout.
