Billing & Payments

1. Subscription Plans

Deep Blue Alpha currently offers the following subscription tiers for purchase:

• Free: No charge. Access to core whale tracking features, including the live dashboard and feed, market trends, daily whale reports, a preview of the What Whales Hold board, and unlimited browsing and search of all tracked whale wallets (each wallet's token breakdown and trade history).
• Pro ($9.99/mo or $89/yr founding rate; standard $14.99/mo or $139/yr): Includes real-time Alerts (Telegram, push, email, Discord, Slack, and custom webhooks; core alert types — browser push availability depends on your operating system, see the delivery note below), the Intelligence Suite, and the full What Whales Hold holdings board. (Daily whale reports are also available on the Free tier.)
• Alpha ($19.99/mo or $179/yr founding rate; standard $29.99/mo or $269/yr): Includes everything in Pro, plus WHaiLE™ AI, Whale Picks, the Whale Screener, the Backtest engine, holder-level holdings detail (which wallets hold each token and at what average cost).
• Whale ($49.99/mo or $439/yr founding rate; standard $79.99/mo or $709/yr): Includes everything in Alpha, plus the Echo Simulator, Playbook event intelligence, priority Alerts (no hourly limits), custom wallet monitoring (alerts on any Ethereum address you choose), unlimited watchlist, and read-only API access (/api/v1) for personal, non-commercial use.
• Business ($299/mo or $2,990/yr): For companies and other commercial users. Includes commercial use of the data within your own organization, higher API limits, real-time webhooks, daily bulk data files, available history, up to 5 API keys, and priority email support. Governed by our Business & API Terms. Redistribution, resale, and public display of raw data are not included.
• Enterprise (from $999/mo, by quote): Redistribution and embedding rights, full available history, and custom feeds, under an order form that references our Business & API Terms. Request a quote by email at team@deepbluealpha.io.

Which plan you need. Free, Pro, Alpha and Whale are Personal plans for an individual's own non-commercial use. Use for or on behalf of an organization, to manage others' assets, or in a product, service, group or publication provided to others requires Business or Enterprise. See Section 3 of the Business & API Terms.

Wallet data. Browsing and searching the full set of tracked whale wallets — including each wallet's token breakdown and trade history — is free on every tier, and available without an account. Profit/loss, cost basis, and open-position detail on an individual wallet's page are a paid feature, available on the most profitable wallets by unrealized-P/L rank: Free top 50, Pro top 100, Alpha top 250, and Whale all tracked wallets. Profit/loss figures are computed only for wallets that have traded since Deep Blue Alpha began tracking them; other wallets display no P/L.

Alert delivery. Alerts are delivered through third-party platforms and are subject to the notification-delivery terms in our Terms of Service. Browser push in particular is constrained by the operating system: on iPhone and iPad it requires installing Deep Blue Alpha to the Home Screen (iOS 16.4+) and does not work from a Safari tab. Telegram, email, Discord, Slack, and webhooks are unaffected. No refund or service credit arises from a missed or delayed notification.

API access. Read-only programmatic API access is included with the Whale tier for personal, non-commercial use, and with the Business and Enterprise plans for commercial use, subject to per-plan rate limits. Whale subscriptions that began before October 16, 2026 and remain continuously active keep their existing API access and price. See deepbluealpha.io/api-docs and our Business & API Terms.

Founding member pricing (Pro, Alpha and Whale) is available for a limited time and is locked in for the lifetime of your continuous subscription. See Section 6 for details.

2. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other major cards — processed securely by Stripe.
• Cryptocurrency: ETH, BTC, USDC, USDT, SOL, BNB, and 300+ other cryptocurrencies — processed by NOWPayments.
• Invoice (Business and Enterprise only): On request, we can issue an invoice payable by card or bank transfer through Stripe, or by cryptocurrency through NOWPayments.

We do not store your card details. All card payments are handled by Stripe under PCI-DSS compliance. Cryptocurrency transactions are processed on-chain via NOWPayments.

3. Billing Cycle

• Monthly plans are billed every month from the date your subscription starts — the date of your first payment.
• Yearly plans are billed once per year from the date your subscription starts — the date of your first payment.
• Switching from monthly to yearly: card subscribers on a monthly plan can switch to the same plan’s yearly price from Account → Billing. Stripe shows the amount due before you confirm: the unused part of your current month is credited against the first yearly charge, and the yearly period starts on the day you switch. Crypto subscribers can renew for a year instead of a month during the 14 days before their current period ends; the year starts when the current period ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You will receive an email receipt for each successful payment.

4. Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then.
• We do not charge cancellation fees.
• After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free tier.

To cancel, log in and go to Account → Billing → Cancel Subscription. If you have trouble, email team@deepbluealpha.io.

5. Refund Policy

• Card payments: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days at team@deepbluealpha.io and we will review your case.
• Cryptocurrency payments: Due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions, crypto payments are final and non-refundable.
• Exceptions: We will issue refunds where required by applicable consumer protection law.

6. Founding Member Pricing

Founding member pricing is a promotional rate offered for a limited time at launch. If you subscribe during the founding member period:

• Your rate is locked in for life — it will never increase as long as your subscription remains continuously active.
• If you voluntarily cancel and later resubscribe, the then-current standard pricing applies. Your founding rate cannot be reinstated after a voluntary cancellation.
• Involuntary lapse — 14-day grace period: If your subscription is suspended due to a payment failure (failed card charge, expired card, card reissue, NSF, or similar), the founding rate is preserved for fourteen (14) days from the date of the first failed charge. If you update your payment method and the charge succeeds within that window, your founding rate continues uninterrupted. If the failure is not resolved within fourteen days, the account reverts to Free and the then-current standard pricing applies on resubscription.
• Founding pricing applies to the tier you subscribe to at the time. Upgrading to a higher tier at a later date will be at the then-current rate for that tier.

7. Price Changes

We may change our standard pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers before any price increase takes effect. Active subscribers are never moved to a new price mid-cycle without notice.

8. Failed Payments

If a card payment fails:

• We will notify you by email immediately.
• Stripe will automatically retry the charge up to 3 times over the following days.
• If all retries fail, your subscription will be suspended and your account will revert to the Free tier.
• You can update your payment method at any time from your Account page.

9. Taxes

Prices listed are exclusive of any applicable taxes. Depending on your jurisdiction, U.S. state sales tax, EU/UK Value Added Tax (VAT), Canadian GST/HST, or other transaction taxes may be added at checkout. Where required by law, applicable taxes are calculated and collected at the time of payment by our payment processor and remitted to the relevant taxing authority.

If your jurisdiction grants you a statutory cooling-off or right-of-withdrawal period for digital services (for example, the EU Consumer Rights Directive's 14-day right of withdrawal, or the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations), your subscription provides you immediate access to digital content; by initiating the subscription you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is waived to the extent that performance has begun, except where the law makes such waiver invalid. You retain all statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived under your local law.

You remain responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase that we do not collect at checkout.

11. Business & Enterprise Billing

• Business billing. Business is billed in advance, monthly ($299) or yearly ($2,990), by card through Stripe or by cryptocurrency through NOWPayments at checkout, or by invoice on request. Card-paid Business subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cryptocurrency payments cover one billing period and do not renew automatically; your Account page shows the end date and lets you renew. Founding member pricing does not apply to Business or Enterprise.
• Cancellation. You may cancel a monthly or yearly card-paid Business plan at any time from your Account page or by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. A cryptocurrency-paid period simply ends on its end date. We do not provide partial-period or pro-rata refunds for cancellation, including on yearly plans.
• Refunds. Business and Enterprise fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law, or where we terminate your plan without cause under the Business & API Terms. Cryptocurrency payments are final and non-refundable.
• Failed card payments. If a renewal charge fails, Stripe retries it. Business access continues for up to three (3) days after the end of the paid period while the payment is retried, and ends if the payment does not succeed.
• Invoices. Invoices are due within fourteen (14) days of the invoice date unless an Order Form states otherwise. Access may begin on payment, and we may suspend access if an invoice is overdue. You are responsible for bank, card, network and currency-conversion fees on your side.
• Enterprise. Enterprise pricing, term, renewal, payment schedule and any service commitments are set in a written quote or order form that references our Business & API Terms. Enterprise is sold by email only.
• Personal and Business plans are separate. Business is bought from a business account and starts a separate Business subscription. Any Personal plan you have is not changed or credited automatically; cancel it from your Account page if you no longer need it.
• Taxes and tax IDs. Business and Enterprise prices exclude taxes. You may send us a VAT, GST or other business tax ID by email, and where reverse charge or another business exemption applies, tax will be handled accordingly. You are responsible for any taxes we do not collect, and for any withholding tax, which must be grossed up so we receive the full invoiced amount.
