Quick Answer · TL;DR

Over October 4–10, 2026 (UTC), tracked Ethereum whale wallets withdrew $17.8M of memecoins from exchanges and deposited $2.3M, so $15.5M net left exchanges across 286 whale moves in 24 memecoins. The withdrawal share was 88.7%.

Three tokens were almost the whole week: PEPE ($6.2M net leaving exchanges, 28 wallets), SHIB ($4.9M net, 21 wallets) and FLOKI ($4.8M net, 10 wallets) accounted for 98.5% of all withdrawals. Every other memecoin in the top 10 saw less than $30K net leave exchanges, mostly from one to four wallets. Two tokens leaned the other way: NPC (−$277.8K) and SPX (−$176.4K).

This was exchange flow, not DEX swapping: swaps were under 1% of whale memecoin dollar volume. This page updates every week. For the 30-day view see the Top 50 Ethereum memecoins ranked by whale activity; for the current read see the live memecoin whale board.

This is the weekly edition of Deep Blue Alpha’s memecoin exchange-flow report. Each Monday it answers one narrow question: which Ethereum memecoins did tracked whale wallets pull off centralized exchanges over the previous seven days, and how lopsided was that flow? The answer comes from whale-scoped data only — wallets on the Deep Blue Alpha tracked list of 20,000+ wallets — not from every holder of every token.

This first edition covers Sunday, October 4 through Saturday, October 10, 2026 (UTC) and compares it with September 27 to October 3. The short version: a large week for three tokens, a quiet week for everything else.

Which memecoins did whales pull off exchanges this week?

Ranked by net leaving exchanges (withdrawals minus deposits), here are the ten memecoins with the most whale flow out of exchanges over October 4–10. Every token name links to its live token page.

Source: Deep Blue Alpha tracked-wallet data, Ethereum mainnet, 2026-10-04 00:00 to 2026-10-10 23:59 UTC. Whale-scoped: only wallets on the tracked whale list. 7D price change from CoinGecko, pulled 2026-10-11 18:30 UTC; it is shown for context and is not the same window as the flow.

The honest reading of this table starts with the gap between row 3 and row 4. PEPE, SHIB and FLOKI each had between $5.0M and $6.8M withdrawn from exchanges. MOG, in fourth place, had $28.8K. Together the top three made up $17.5M of the sector’s $17.8M in withdrawals — 98.5% — and 139 of the week’s 286 whale moves.

Below the top three, the numbers are small and the wallet counts are thin. Fifteen other memecoins finished the week with positive net flow, but together they added only $116.2K. Nine of those fifteen had a single wallet behind them, and thirteen came in under $15K. A token that ranks eighth because one wallet withdrew $4.8K of it is a real data point, but it is not a trend, and it is listed here for completeness rather than emphasis.

Prices did not move with the flow in any tidy way. Over the seven days to October 11, PEPE was down 1.9%, SHIB down 3.8% and FLOKI up 0.4%, according to CoinGecko. The flow table records custody decisions; it is not a price chart, and the two are shown side by side only so the context is visible.

How did this week compare with last week?

The sector total leaned further toward withdrawals this week, but on noticeably less activity.

Withdrawal share = withdrawals ÷ (withdrawals + deposits). DEX swap figures are actual swaps on decentralized exchanges and are the only rows on this page where “bought” and “sold” apply.

Deposits fell faster than withdrawals, which is why the withdrawal share rose from 80.3% to 88.7% even as total activity dropped by about a third. For a wider frame, the trailing 30 days (September 11 to October 10) saw $66.4M withdrawn, $24.6M deposited and $41.8M net leaving exchanges across 43 memecoins and 1,576 whale moves. This single week supplied 37.2% of that 30-day net.

The mix of tokens shifted more than the totals did:

Net leaving exchanges by token — this week vs prior week

PEPE$6.2M28$16.3M33
SHIB$4.9M21$2.0M25
FLOKI$4.8M10−$360.6K5
NPC−$277.8K6$343.2K8
SPX−$176.4K9−$541.7K4

PEPE was still first, but its net fell from $16.3M to $6.2M. SHIB’s net more than doubled, from $2.0M to $4.9M. FLOKI swung from a small deposit lean of −$360.6K to $4.8M leaving exchanges. Concentration itself was not new: in the prior week the same three tokens made up 97.4% of withdrawals, and PEPE alone was 75.8%.

Where was the flow concentrated in one or two wallets?

Wallet counts tell part of the story; the largest single moves tell the rest. Several of the week’s headline numbers trace back to a handful of transfers on one day, October 5.

Concentration checks — Oct 4–10, 2026

TokenWhat happenedShare of the token’s figure
FLOKITwo withdrawals of about $2.4M each by two wallets on Oct 5 ($4.8M combined)94.6% of FLOKI withdrawals
SHIBOne $4.7M withdrawal on Oct 581.9% of SHIB withdrawals
SHIB + FLOKIOne wallet (0xb383e9…77a2) made both the $4.7M SHIB and a $2.4M FLOKI withdrawal on Oct 5 ($7.1M)39.8% of all memecoin withdrawals
PEPENet flow clustered on Oct 5 ($3.5M) and Oct 6 ($2.3M), spread across 28 wallets and 52 moves94.3% of PEPE net
NPCOne $288.5K deposit on Oct 8 by one wallet100% of NPC deposits

Wallet addresses are public on-chain data, shown truncated. Shares computed from the same whale-scoped data as the tables above.

FLOKI is the clearest case. Its $5.0M of withdrawals looks like the third-largest memecoin story of the week, and it was — but nearly all of it was two transfers of about $2.4M each, made by two wallets on the same day. One of those wallets also made the week’s single largest memecoin withdrawal, $4.7M of SHIB. The other had withdrawn $4.4M and $4.3M of PEPE on October 2 and 3, in the prior week’s window. Two wallets, in other words, sit behind a large part of the last fortnight’s memecoin flow.

PEPE was the broadest of the three. Its net was concentrated in time — October 5 and 6 carried 94.3% of it — but 28 different wallets made 52 moves, which is a wider base than any other memecoin on the list.

How to describe this honestly: “Tracked whales pulled $4.8M of FLOKI off exchanges this week” is accurate. “Whales piled into FLOKI” is not: the figure was two wallets, two transfers, one day, and the transfers were exchange withdrawals rather than purchases.

Which memecoins leaned toward exchange deposits?

Two memecoins finished the week with more sent to exchanges than pulled off them. Coins arriving at exchanges are commonly read as distribution-side flow, the mirror image of the withdrawal read.

Deposit-leaning memecoins — Oct 4–10, 2026

SPX$139.9K$316.3K−$176.4K30.7%9 / 14

NPC (Non-Playable Coin) is another single-wallet story: its entire $288.5K deposit total was one transfer on October 8. The same wallet had withdrawn $282.3K of NPC on September 29, so across the two weeks it largely moved the coins off an exchange and back. NPC was also the one memecoin with meaningful DEX activity — $45.3K bought and $48.6K sold in DEX swaps, 23.9% of its whale dollar volume.

SPX6900 was more spread out, with nine wallets and 14 moves, and it leaned toward deposits for a second straight week (−$541.7K the week before). Its price was down 13.6% over the seven days to October 11.

How to read this weekly report

A few conventions keep the numbers honest:

  • Withdrawals are not purchases. Coins leaving an exchange are commonly read as accumulation-side flow, because the holder is taking custody. Coins arriving are commonly read as distribution-side flow. Both are heuristics about past movements, not records of intent.
  • This is exchange flow, not swapping. DEX swaps were under 1% of whale memecoin dollar volume this week, so the words “bought” and “sold” appear on this page only for actual DEX swap rows.
  • Check wallets before reading size. A large figure from one wallet tells a narrower story than a smaller figure from 28 wallets.
  • Whale-scoped only. Figures cover wallets on the Deep Blue Alpha tracked list, not all holders. Retail flow, other chains and wallets outside the list are not included.

Methodology

Whale-scoped means wallets on Deep Blue Alpha’s tracked whale list (about 21,880 wallets at the time of writing). Exchange-flow rows are kept for 30 days, so every comparison on this page uses fixed windows inside that range: this week is 2026-10-04 00:00 to 2026-10-10 23:59 UTC, the prior week is 2026-09-27 00:00 to 2026-10-03 23:59 UTC, and the 30-day frame is 2026-09-11 00:00 to 2026-10-10 23:59 UTC. Memecoins are identified by Ethereum contract address against CoinGecko’s meme category; 43 memecoins had tracked whale flow in the 30-day window. Prices and 7-day price changes are from CoinGecko, pulled at 2026-10-11 18:30 UTC.

How to check memecoin whale exchange flow yourself

The same method can be run any day of the week with free Deep Blue Alpha pages:

  1. Open the live board. The memecoin whale board shows which memecoins tracked whales are moving right now, with net flow and move counts.
  2. Open each token page. /token/PEPE, /token/SHIB and /token/FLOKI show the whale move history per token.
  3. Separate exchange flow from DEX swaps. Exchange withdrawals and deposits are custody moves; only swap rows are swaps.
  4. Sum over a fixed window. Withdrawals minus deposits gives net leaving exchanges; withdrawals divided by the total gives the withdrawal share.
  5. Check wallet count and the largest move. If one or two transfers make up most of the figure, say so.
  6. Compare. Set the week against the prior week and the 30-day ranking.

Frequently asked questions

Did whales buy PEPE, SHIB or FLOKI this week?

The data does not show purchases. Almost all of the week’s memecoin whale activity was exchange flow, and DEX swaps were under 1% of whale memecoin dollar volume ($62.2K bought and $117.1K sold on DEXes). PEPE, SHIB and FLOKI were withdrawn from exchanges, which is commonly read as accumulation-side flow, but a withdrawal is not a purchase.

How often is this page updated?

Every week. Each Monday edition covers the previous Sunday-to-Saturday window in UTC and compares it with the week before. Between editions, the live memecoin whale board and the whale feed show moves as they happen.

Why does a token with $4K of flow appear in the top 10?

Because the ranking is by net leaving exchanges, and below the top three the numbers drop sharply. Positions four through ten are listed for completeness; most of them reflect one or two wallets.

Bottom line

Over October 4–10, 2026, tracked whale wallets pulled $17.8M of memecoins off exchanges and sent $2.3M in, for $15.5M net leaving exchanges. PEPE, SHIB and FLOKI made up 98.5% of the withdrawals; nothing else on the list cleared $30K net. Much of the headline flow traces to a few wallets on October 5, including one wallet whose SHIB and FLOKI withdrawals came to 39.8% of the sector total. NPC and SPX leaned toward deposits.

Compared with the prior week, withdrawals fell 25.2%, deposits fell 61.3% and whale moves fell 36.7%, so the flow leaned further toward withdrawals on lighter activity. The next edition replaces these figures with the following week’s data.
